In the book Mississippi Trial, 1955 , Why did Hiram say that “It was good to be back in Greenwood. I had come back home, and I was free.” Why is this quote important?

He could never understand why his father did not like his hometown. Hiram only remembered the good times. It is a foreboding of what is to come: it’s not really good to be home and he really isn’t as free as he thought.

It’s a thoughtful book that teaches us the true meaning of personal responsibility, accountability, and freedom.

OK So I am finishing up my UC application and I am a bit confused about the difference between the extra curricular and community service. If I was an officer of the club and I did community service with that club, where do I list it?! In community Service or Extra Curricular? Do I list it twice in both areas? Along with the hours?

Also, In filling out the description, there is a 160 character limit. Does the college want a description about what the club is in general or what I did was an officer of that club?

Describe your role as an officer of the club as an extracurricular activity and describe the community service you performed as a community service. Calculate the hours for each separately. The description should be about what you did, altho you may wish to briefly describe the club if the name is not well recognized or if the name does not clearly describe what the club is about (so you wouldn’t have to describe what the club is about if it’s “environmental club” or “Key club”).

You’ll need to go to a Pearson dealer and they will be able to help you. I had to have new limbs put on my Pearson Spoiler. My bow was from 1991 and they replaced the limbs for free. So yours may be warrantied still.
